Our story
A Brisbane name since 1956
Memmotts Automotive was founded in 1956 by Robert Memmott. Starting out in a small workshop at Everton Park, we soon moved to Newstead — repairing the likes of Morris Minors, FJ Holdens and International Trucks. Over the decades we’ve watched cars change and develop, and we’ve changed and developed right alongside them.
Today the business is run by second-generation owner Ray Memmott, with more than 70 years of combined industry experience behind us. We service and repair all makes and models — with a genuine specialty in European vehicles — and our technicians keep current with the latest methods and diagnostic equipment so we can look after modern cars properly.
